COMP CARDS / ZED CARDS / COMPOSITE CARDS
So you have an audition or go-see for an agency or maybe even a job! Congratulations! What do you do now? It's always good to calm down and make sure you are ready. One of the things you will absolutely want to take with you is your composite card or ZED card. You will leave this with the agency or casting directors for reference once you are no longer in their presence. We recommend you have your comp cards printed and ready to go even before you receive your first interview, audition or go-see.
Your composites should be professionally printed and contain your very best photos. They should also represent you as you are now, not as you looked a year or two ago. They are part of your tools of the trade and one of your best investments in your future no matter where you are along the road to stardom. Remember to keep your composites fresh and updated when you make major changes to your look. You always want to be remembered as someone who is professional and on top of things and as someone who stands out among the competition.
Your composites will want to include your very best headshot, additional photographs showing your versatility on the back and include your statistics and contact information.
