Comments: Image Solutions Limited is a photography and video production house incorporated in Hong Kong in 1997. Alex Hofford’s work as a photographer for Image Solutions comprises mainly of corporate and editorial assignments, but since 2000, Alex has also branched out into video production, shooting corporate videos as well as B-roll for CNN and the BBC and a documentary for the National Geographic Channel. Alex hails from Cambridge in the UK and has been shooting since he received his first single-lens reflex camera on his fourteenth birthday.
After switching out of a marketing career in the UK music industry, Alex arrived in pre-handover Hong Kong in 1996. Shortly thereafter, after setting himself up as a photographer, Alex covered virtually hundreds of assignments in Hong Kong, China and the Asian region, building up an extensive stock photo library, some of which lies with Getty Images in New York. This year sees Image Solutions Ltd expanding further into the booming China market, with a branch office being set up in Shanghai later in 2003.
